One-Liner
A two-sided platform where EU citizens volunteer as test subjects for AI Act regulatory sandboxes and sandbox operators recruit verified testers for their supervised AI testing programs.
AI Thinking Process
Scale Shift: institutional clinical-trial participant registries → personal app for citizens to volunteer as AI Act regulatory sandbox test subjects. Industry pairing: [Consumer Citizen Participation] × [EU AI Act Sandboxes].
Sandboxes not yet operational; Aug 2026 deadline with Digital Omnibus potentially pushing to Dec 2027. Member States will recruit via official government channels. Government crowding-out risk is structural.
Tried pre-launch waitlist. Government crowding-out remains: Member States recruit citizens through Bundesamt/ARCEP/AGID channels for free. No platform layer survives.
Market doesn't yet exist + government crowding-out + regulatory delay uncertainty. Tooling for government channels = B2B sandbox-ops already saturated. Killed.
Kill Reason
EU AI Act national sandboxes are not yet operational (deadline August 2, 2026, with Digital Omnibus potentially pushing to December 2027). Member State governments will recruit citizen testers through existing official channels (Bundesamt für Sicherheit, ARCEP, AGID) rather than outsourcing to a startup platform. Government crowding-out is the structural barrier, not timing alone.

killed: Open-source middleware (HAMi) already provides heterogeneous AI computing virtualization for free. Proprietary play is squeezed between free open-source and vertically integrated hardware vendor ecosystem.
killed: 5+ funded competitors including Cast AI ($1B valuation), OneChronos (backed by Nobel laureate), Akash Network (decentralized, 80% cheaper), Argentum AI (blockchain-settled). Market is claimed with massive capital.
killed: Template epidemic (G003) + industry-pain-form death pattern (G005) fire simultaneously. 13+ existing compliance tools. A prompt could do 80% of this.
